On the 20th of September 2023, a significant event unfolded in Rangamati as BNKS and DPHE, in collaboration with iDE and UNICEF, convened a Project Inception Workshop at the Rangamati Hill District Council(RHDC) Conference room.
This workshop marked the commencement of the Scaling Up Sanitation Market System in Bangladesh (CHT Region) Phase II project, an initiative aimed at addressing sanitation challenges in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) region.
The esteemed gathering saw the presence of notable dignitaries, with Mr. Aung Sui Prue Chowdhury, Chairman of RHDC, gracing the occasion as the chief guest while Mr. Jahir Uddin Dewan, Superintending Engineer, chaired the program.

5.Mr. Imran Nizami, CHT Team Leader at iDE (International Development Enterprise).
The workshop drew a diverse audience, including representatives from UNICEF, Upazila Parishad Chairmans, Union Parishad Chairmans, CHTDB representatives, NGO representatives, private sector representatives, journalists, as well as traditional leaders in the form of Headmen and Karbaris. LP owners/Entrepreneurs also participated, bringing valuable insights to the discussion.
